Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy was historically delivered in the home setting. The BCBA would train the staff and family as outlined in the individualized treatment plan. Skylight Autism Center will continue to offer a home program in order to meet the needs of the community. Services for children who may be diagnosed at 18 months may want an in-home program due to their child’s age. Likewise, services for older children may be more appropriate conducted in their home if they are working on daily living, family/sibling interaction, sleep issues, eating difficulties, and daily routines. Skylight will help the family decide where therapy would be best suited for their child to ensure a successful treatment plan.
