Our Story
Alexis founded her dream of Skylight Autism Center in 2017. Alexis met Joey and they were married in 2019. Joey left his job as a School Psychologist to work at Skylight Autism Center full-time in 2021. Alexis and Joey enjoy working together with their combined extensive knowledge in the field they help change the lives of those on the spectrum. When they are not working at Skylight they have fun raising their own children.
Alexis Powell, MA, BCBA
Alexis is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Clinical Director of Skylight Autism Center. She is a Wisconsin Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Alexis received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Minnesota State Mankato and her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Prior to moving back to her hometown of Wausau, she gained valuable experience working as a clinical supervisor for a center-based autism clinic in Indianapolis. She has worked with a wide range of individuals across a variety of settings. Alexis takes pure joy in making a difference and watching lives change in incredible ways. She takes great pride in knowing that a small step can be a huge victory for a child and their family. After working in the ABA field for 5 years, developing behavior support plans, teaching functional communication, conducting a variety of assessments, and helping children reach their goals, she created the state-of-the-art facility, Skylight Autism Center. She is passionate about producing the meaningful change for families. Alexis creates individualized treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Joey Powell, M.S. Ed.S, NCSP
Joey is licensed by the Wisconsin Psychology Board as a Private Practice School Psychologist. He also obtained a School Psychologist License and Director of Special Education/Pupil Services License from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Joey completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. After that he completed his Master’s and Education Specialist Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He also completed a graduate certificate program at Ball State in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Prior to working at Skylight Autism Center, Joey has worked in public schools as a School Psychologist for 9 years completing evaluations and behavioral consultation with staff and families.
Our Therapists
The behavior therapists that are part of Skylight’s team have an exceptional level of compassion for families they work with. All therapists at Skylight Autism Center are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), which is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA or FL-CBA. The RBT goes through an extensive 40-hours of training, will complete a Competency Assessment and pass the RBT examination. The RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. The therapists are primarily responsible for carrying out behavior-analytic treatment for children with autism. They provide care in a one-on-one situation, helping improve the individual’s skills and help them reach their individual goals. Our therapists work closely with the families of to teach them methods of assisting their children in developing life skills. They carefully track the child’s progress and are closely supervised and mentored by experienced, master’s-level BCBA and BCaBA specialists. These clinical supervisors observe therapy sessions and provide feedback to improve the progress of the individual.

Jadyn Botello, MA
Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor
Jadyn is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor for the Schofield Skylight Autism Center location. After joining the Skylight team in May 2023, she quickly became a trusted leader known for her calm presence, strong clinical judgment, and dedication to high-quality ABA services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Jadyn is currently working toward her Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure, continuing to expand her expertise to better support the children, families, and staff she serves.
Kelsey Strobel, BA
Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor
Kelsey is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at the Schofield Skylight Autism Center, joining the team in June 2022. She brings an encouraging, team-focused leadership style and a strong commitment to creating a positive, growth-oriented environment for both clients and staff. Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, along with a certificate in Autism. She is passionate about developing staff, fostering family collaboration, and ensuring each child receives individualized programming designed to support meaningful progress.
Paige Lucas, BA
Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor
Paige is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at the Schofield Skylight Autism Center and joined the team in June 2023. She brings an energetic and supportive leadership style, along with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality ABA services. Paige earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Kaylee is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at Skylight Autism Center, bringing years of hands-on experience and a strong commitment to high-quality ABA services. Since joining Skylight in November 2017, she has become a dependable leader known for her dedication to helping children achieve meaningful progress. Kaylee holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Services from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, providing a strong clinical foundation as she supports staff, clients, and families.

Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor
Micaela is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at the Schofield Skylight Autism Center, joining the team in November 2025. She is recognized for her steady leadership, supportive approach, and commitment to delivering high-quality ABA services. Anne is a Program Goal Developer and Clinical Supervisor at Skylight Autism Center, joining the team in November 2024. Madeline Wimmer, RBT
Program Goal Developer and Center Operations Assistant
Madeline is a Program Goal Developer and Center Operations Assistant at Skylight Autism Center. In her clinical role, she develops individualized skill-building programs and provides direct therapy to support each child’s progress. Since joining the Skylight team in January 2021, she has also become an important part of the center’s daily operations, helping maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient environment. Madeline is known for her positive attitude, and dedication to supporting both clients and colleagues.
Jordyn Chartier, RBT
Program Goal Developer
Jordyn is a Program Goal Developer at Skylight Autism Center. She creates individualized skill-building programs and provides direct therapy that supports meaningful daily progress for clients. Since joining Skylight in August 2019, Jordyn has taken a lead role in developing collaborative play opportunities, designing social games that encourage communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. She is known for her creativity, supportive presence, and dedication to helping each child build confidence and new skills.

Their work helps ensure children have clear goals, meaningful opportunities for learning, and the support needed to succeed.

Hailey Iczkowski, RBT
Program Goal Developer
Hailey is a Program Goal Developer at Skylight Autism Center, having joined the team in September 2022. She designs individualized skill-building programs and provides direct therapy that supports meaningful daily progress. Hailey is known for her patient and encouraging nature, as well as her commitment to helping children develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Hailey is also an amazing new staff trainer, explaining ABA and the flow of the center to new on-boarding employees.

Erin Radtke MA, BCBA, LBA
Clinical Therapy and Operations Director
Erin is the Center Operations Director for the Wisconsin Rapids Skylight Autism Center. Since joining Skylight in January 2021, she has played a key role in supporting high-quality clinical services and efficient day-to-day operations. Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. After completing her supervised fieldwork, she earned her Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure in April 2024 and now serves as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Erin brings both clinical expertise and strong operational leadership to the families and staff she supports.

Brook-Lynn is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at the Wisconsin Rapids Skylight Autism Center. She is a reliable and encouraging leader, recognized for her collaborative leadership style and dedication to delivering exceptional ABA services. Operations Director
Leanna is the Operations Director at the Marshfield Location. She has worked with Skylight since January 2021. Leanna is going to school and obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the University of Stevens Point with a minor in Business. With many years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), she brings extensive knowledge, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and families. Leanna oversees daily center operations, supports and mentors staff, and collaborates with clinical leadership to ensure the highest quality of care. Erin is a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor at the Marshfield Skylight Autism Center, joining the team in June 2023. She brings a strong clinical foundation and a thoughtful, client-centered approach to overseeing therapy services at the location. Erin earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Behavior Science from Michigan Technological University, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida.
